Each material that has a temperature above absolute zero(-273°C) emits infrared radiation, the radiation energy depends upon the radiator's ability to radiate and the radiator's temperature, Infrared camera is a device that forms an image using infrared radiation. Temperature measuring based on human body is one of the most important applications for thermograghy. This paper takes imaging and temperature measurement based on human body as a start point. It analyzes the combination of imaging and temperature measurement system, and also achieves the video imaging and temperature measurement for human infrared radiation.In this paper based on infrared thermograghy technology, we developed software for a MDK-UFPA thermograghy system on Visual C++ platform using object-orientation technology. This software has many functions, such as data receive, video display, temperature measurement. The interface of peripheral equipment is universal serial bus. We use the function library given by Cypress Company to complete the control instruction output and data input. Most of infrared image has some characteristics, such as low contrast between target and background, blurred edge, big background yawp. For all the reason above, we do some process to the fourteen bits data input before display. These algorithms are contrast adjustment, grayscale compression, histogram equalization, pseudo-color enhancement algorithm. According to the theory of temperature measurement, we get a formula which connects temperature of object and grayscale of image. We also supply the function of whole image temperature measurement and partly temperature measurement.The software system has friendly man-machine interface and convenient operation. It can work well in windows system.
