This thesis aims to research how to construct a new type On-board ticketing system, which is one of the latest Information &Science technologies, namely the Radio frequency identification technology. Nowadays there has been few domestic design of RF reader, and this technology is mainly monopolized by international corporations. So it's necessary to design a new type untouched reader, and particularly important to arrange the memory organization adapted to lots of passenger records. A clock chip with time-based function is introduced to keep the trace of the on-board real-time actions for later convenient searching. Then I present several communication methods among the On-board ticketing unit , station sampling computer and management center. They are both feasible and utilizable. Finally, the system can realize the intelligent operations by making full use of the advanced database management functions, such as saving, maintenance, analysis, printing and reporting of the complicated records collected. In this thesis, I make three contributions as follows. Firstly, the modern electronic financial transaction is realized by designing the untouched reader based on RFID technology. Secondly, an optimized memory arrangement for records flow is successfully studied and a series of communication protocols are made. Thirdly, several feasible data transfer proposals are put forward and some modules of database software are completed.
