Nowadays in the context of advocating higher education to reform the teaching methods by education informationization, project-based learning is a new teaching method to achieve the higher education instructional reform. During the process of project-based learning, students finish the learning task by independent learning and collaborative learning which will cultivate them the capacities of exploration, innovation and cooperation. At the same time, with the development of the information technology, the application of technology in education become more widely. The characteristics of user-centered and interaction which the web2.0 technology emphasized have promoted the independent learning and collaborative learning of student in instructional reform. With the development of the new network technology, the learning of using web2.0 technology to support project-based learning is an attempt and a new way of personnel training.This paper propose that the web2.0 technology could support student to finish project-based learning as a tool by analysis the status of the field in technology supporting project-based learning and the application of web2.0 technology in education. The web2.0 technologies in this paper include Blog, Wiki, Rss, IM. And this paper begin with the feasibility study of the project-based learning application of web2.0 technology, and then devise web2.0 technology to support student in three aspects of project-based learning which include preparation, comprehensive practice and evaluation. According to the theoretical design, the author took practice in the educational technology undergraduate practice course "Educational Technology" of Hebei University. Author test and verify the effectiveness of the design and application of web2.0 technology support project-based learning. Finally, the author summarizes some application laws of web2.0 technology in education and expects the application laws will be useful forthe future research.
