Opinion Rumors And Powers Confrontation

Rumor is the common phenomenon in our daily life. In the past, people thought the rumor was a beast, which damaged one's reputation, disrupted unity and led to war among counties. So people would contain and strangle rumors.As time goes by, people begin to study rumor from various subjects. They find positive role played by rumor in our daily life. This paper studies rumor in terms of public opinion. The rumor is called "public opinion rumor". It lays "real core" behind the rumor. The "real core" reflects people's real hope, opinion and emotion.People reflect their real hope, opinion and emotion to the authority by means of rumor in public sphere, which impose force of public opinion to the authority. People interact with the authority in the public sphere by means of rumor. And then the rumor becomes anti- authority, which supervises the authority all the time.Anti-authority isn't rigid resist. It relies on soft force of public opinion which restricts and supervises the authority.In cyber age, the "grass-root class" rise sharply. They can interact with the authority directly by means of rumor depending on the internet. Authority need have a change of heart to rumor, and consider rumor as a window to understand the public's attitude, opinion, hope and emotion, by which can they solve the public affairs correctly. Meantime, people need self-discipline and logos in times of interacting with the authority by means of rumor."Public opinion rumor" reflects the citizen's opinion. The government resolving rumor correctly will promote the formation "citizen society".
