Research And Application Of WebGIS Based On MapGuide

WebGIS is a new technology referred to the using of Internet technology to extend and improve the geographic information system. People can use it to find not only all kinds of geospatial data, graphics and images what they need, but also geo-spatial analysis. Nation "11.5 Information Development Plan" explicitly pointed out:To use information technology to transform and upgrade to coal, nonferrous ore, as represented by the traditional non-metallic mineral mining, construction of coal mine of information WebGIS was the only way.The article based on the MapGuide platform for in-depth research, describing the use of MapGuide platform to build mine WebGIS system Wangfenggang process.The article covers the following areas:1. Briefly introduced the basic principles, implementation and research status of Construction about WebGIS2. Construction on the WebGIS database research:includinghe DWG format map data layer will be coverted into SDF farmat map data which is supported by MapGuide through AutoCAD Map 3D 2010 platform,and editing the data after conversion; building attribute database of system and mading it connected with map data.3. WebGIS design of the main features included:a map browsing, layer control, map spatial data query location, distance and area measurement.4. We can combine the underground space data showed in the map, so that managers can understand the resources above and below ground distribution through WebGIS system builded by us.Combined with construction process of Wangfenggang mine, AutoCAD design drawing will be introduced into informatization construction of coal mines,it is shown that WebGIS not only makes use of precious documents already existed, but also is closer to actual situation of coal mine, greatly enhancing the coal informatization level.
