As an important part of the coal mine safety system, monitoring system for gas drainage station plays an important role.This paper introduces a new-type monitoring system for gas drainage station in coal mine. In this system, Siemens S7-300 series PLC analyzes and processes the data collected by the sensors and then outputs commands to execute the associated action mechanism to achieve effective control on the whole system. Configuration screen is also designed, which can display live data in real time, query historical data, print the report and also calculate the amount of gas extraction. Fuzzy PID control algorithm is used to a moderate level circular pool outlet water temperature. Compared with the original control system, it improves the accuracy of measurement and control, reduces energy consumption and reduces the labor intensity of the staff.Related research background of the topic is introduced at the beginning of the paper, analyzing existing problems and development trend of the monitoring system. Then the structure of the whole system is analyzed from the hardware and software, including a brief introduction and selection of hardware, hardware configuration of PLC, communication network design and parts of the system software program. After researching control volume and control features of the pool, fuzzy adaptive PID control is established. In the paper, PID control principle and the basic principles of fuzzy control are elaborated. Membership functions of each variable, fuzzy control rule table are designed based on experts'experiences. The control system simulation model is designed and the simulation results are also given using MATLAB/Simulink. Finally, monitoring configuration screen based on WinCC is design. Practice has proved that the monitoring system of gas drainage stations is reasonable, effective and economic, plays a positive role for the safe production of coal mines in our country.
