Coal mine dust underground is one of the five natural disasters of coal mine.It can initiate occupational diseases such as pneumoconiosis inside the body of miners.In addition,it can poses a threat to coal mine safety,because of it's flammability and explosibility nature. With the accelerating industrialization process of coal mine in our country, coal mine production is developing into large-scale mechanization production. As a resualt in some degree, coal mine dust harm is becoming serious increasingly.So coal mine dust monitoring and preventing have important significance.At present, coal mine dust monitoring and preventing is orientate to the network and real-time on-line monitoring development direction.And the respirable coal mine dust is attracting more and more attention.However,in our country, coal mine dust monitoring and preventing technical level is behind the foreign level in some degree. In domestic area, coal mine dust monitoring adopted artificial,single site,discontinuity monitoring way widely.This detecting way not only has low automation,but also pay less attention to the data of respirable coal mine dust.And the error is large generally.The genuine coal mine dust on-line monitoring system is still in research stage in domestic area.This paper take the project of coal mine dust on-line detect and control system,which reseached and developed by ShanDong University of Science and technology and LinYi Mining Group cooperatively,as the background of topic. Aiming at coal mine dust monitoring status and deficiency as above in domestic area, according to the environment conditions and function requirements of the system, combining microcontroller technology and CAN communication technology, this paper puts forward a coal mine dust on-line monitoring system scheme,which composes of monitor sub-stations underground,CAN-Bus communication and monitor computer on the ground. Monitor sub-station realizes coal mine dust detection and control real-timely in the field.Spraying,flow wind,and dust removal equipment dust control ways are combined flexibility,so as to meet the need of the coal field and achieve satisfactory dust control effect.Monitor sub-station also have many other functions,such as detecting data display on the spot, dust density threshold value setting,dust removal control mode setting,detecting failure of water supply,people passing by detect,and voice prompt.The system adopts advanced CAN-Bus communication,which serve as the data transmission channel between monitor sub-stations underground and monitor computer on the ground.This communication way is not only helpful to improve the real-time performance of the system, but also can serve as strong guarantee for the data transmission reliability.Monitor computer on the ground have the founction of monitoring the status of field device underground,data query, operation parameters setting,etc.More important, This paper make full use of the powerful data calculation and process ability of the monitor computer.On the one hand,using least square method to modify operation parameters of the monitor sub-stations.So as to improve the detect precision of the dust density. On the other hand, based on calculation of the ratio K between respirable coal mine dust density and total coal mine dust density,the monitor computer can provide respirable coal mine dust density data according to total coal mine dust density data.So the manager can know the harm degree of dust in coal mine environment in aspects of miner occupational disease such as pneumoconiosis.The experiment result and field operation show that the system can detect the underground coal mine duct condition real-timely,and can provides reference data for the evaluation of the coal mine underground dust situation and harm degree to the miniers.The system can control and restrain the coal mine underground dust timely and effictively,too.
