Chongqing Telecom Integrated Business Management Platform Research And Design

In order to grab the strategic tech territory of the 3G era and also meet the growing diversified needs of users, all the major telecommunications operators have launched various value-added mobile services and mobile Internet businesses one after another. However, as these various types of value-added business increases day by day, it has become a burning issue for each major telecommunications operator to study how to carry out effective and controllable management on these businesses, and how to improve users'brand awareness.At the present stage, each major operator mainly adopts two types of management system: separate service management system and integrated service management system. Different from separate service management system, the integrated service management system does not establish independent management system against each business type any longer, but abstract the common characters of all business in order to undertake unified and centralized management. This management approach boasts good extensibility. It can not only provide effective supervision on service providers and content providers, but can also greatly reduce operation and maintenance costs, as well as customer complaints. Therefore, the integrated service management system will become the ultimate choice of major telecommunication operators.This paper conducts the research and design of the ISMP Platform, or the integrated service management platform of China Telecom Corporation Limited Chongqing Branch. Firstly, this thesis describes in detail the differences between the ISMP and the separate service platform. Secondly, the author then describes the position of the ISMP in the telecom network, and its basic functions. This thesis expounds the system architecture design and data model design. Three difficult problems from the development process have been solved as follows:1, establishing the system data model: the object-oriented method has been applied to analyze and abstract the data model in the ISMP platform, thus form a unified value-added service E-R data model.2, carry out the process control management: the related workflow theory and tools are applied to organize the main complex flow of the integrated service management system, in order to realize process control.3, interface design: the ISMP platform is modularized to establish modular interface between each other, including internal interface and external interface. In this way, the service-changing management requirements can be processed rapidly in Chongqing Telecom.
