As a clean and efficient energy, natural gas is more and more close to various activities in our life. Along with the continuous construction of gas pipeline network and the increasingly complex in its structure, the real-time control of network dynamic operation data and the scientific analysis is an important safeguard for management. DCS is widely used in automatic monitoring, and control of multi-parameter and complex control loop in the industry. It's also the basic way to acquire and display the measurement information of pipeline in gas distribution station. But DCS did not leave a data interface, so it's difficult to realize the effective integration between the company's existing business management system and GIS. As the space distribution of gas station is wide and independent, the sharing and security remote transmission of measurement data is hard to achieve and can not combine with space topological structure of enterprise facilities to realize unified visual management. It's hard to meet the demand of modern enterprise management. Therefore, it is necessary to intergrate the geographically independent and dispersed DCS by using database, network communication, GIS graphic data management and analysis technology. Through the establishment of distributed DCS real-time database, unify the pump data with integrated system established in the control center and realize remote real-time updates and safety sharing of mass data.Based on the analysis of enterprise's demand and spatial structure, we can divide the integration system into two parts:the DCS data receiving and storage subsystem and the control center integrated management subsystem. The framework, network topology structure and data integration model are also constructed. Through the analysis of the physical structure of gas distribution station and the data storage formats of DCS, the research of Modbus agreement RTU in communication mode and its frame model, based on RS-232 port of computer, using WINDOWS serial communication and database technology, the DCS initiative real-time database is built and the communication between PC and the DCS is realized. It provides an open data interface for system integration. The control center subsystem connects measurement and geographical information seamlessly by using network communication protocol such as FTP/SSL, TCP/IP and database technology. Combined with existing business information management processes, multiple spatial analysis and statistical functions in GIS, the gas information integrated management system is developed by using AE (ArcGIS Engine) components package, ArcGIS geographic databases, SQL Server 2005 database and VC#.net programming language. It gives full play to the performance of GIS and DCS. The major research content and the achievements of the thesis are depicted as follows: Firstly, according to DCS measurement data, characteristics of pipe spatial data and enterprise business requirements, the integration model of measurement data and geographic data and the business function integration mode based on COM technology are studied. And on the basis of the system overall structure and the network topology structure are designed.Secondly, on the basis of the research of Modbus-RTU communication mode and its frame model, using the WINDOWS serial communication technology and database technology, the distributed DCS active real-time database is designed. Meanwhile, in order to reduce database's pressure, shared folder in network to save huge amounts of data collected every day which exported automatically in database is constructed. Moreover, remote security transmission and sharing of data based on TCP/IP, FTP/SSL network protocols are realized.Thirdly, data service layer, business logic layer and system application layer unitily based on COM technology are unified management, and the overall integration system model is constructed. It realizes the seamless connection between GIS database model and DCS database. The database security system structure is designed. It can provide stability data services for upper application.Fourthly, according to the DCS database, system overall structure and network topology structure which already designed, basing on ArcGIS Engine, Geodatabase, SQL Server 2005, Socket and VC#.net, the gas information integrated management system is programed and developed. It shows that the integrated system realizes the unified visual management of gas measurement data and geographical data. It also supply certain practical value by practice.
