Along with the Internet technology updated increasingly, people also have higher requirements for various WEB applications. In terms of the remote monitoring system based on WEB, people pay more attention to the real-time of the system. Accordingly, technologies related with real-time will become a research hot-spot of developers. Be aimed at the10KVA intelligent line switch monitoring system which is currently under development and the remote monitoring system of engineering vehicle which needs upgrading, this thesis analyzes and tests the real-time performance of three different WEB information transmission technology. It provides the technical basis for the development of10KVA intelligent line switch monitoring system and the upgrading of remote monitoring system of engineering vehicle.Firstly, this thesis carries on a brief description of the remote monitoring system based on WEB, and points out the research purpose and significance of the thesis. Secondly, the structure of the WEB remote monitoring application and implementation method are analyzed and summarized. HTTP transfer between WEB server and browser is the key factor to affect the real-time performance of the system. In this thesis, the traditional HTTP Refresh technology, Ajax, Comet and WebSocket technology are compared. Among them, the discussion of Ajax includes the introduction about its technical composition, the comparison with traditional refresh technology and the selection about the format of data transmission. Ajax and the latest jQuery, JSON technology are comprehensive used in the10KVA intelligent line switch monitoring system. This thesis makes a further summary of the application of Ajax technology in the remote monitoring and control system. Comet push technology is the improvement of Ajax technology. The discourse upon Comet technology includes technical background and principle analysis, as well as the implementation of two schemes about long-lived HTTP connections between client and server. WebSocket technology is a new technology, this thesis analyzes WebSocket in remote monitoring system of engineering vehicle, which provides the possibility for the application of WebSocket in the upgrade project of the vehicle monitoring system.
