With more and more mature of computer technology and network development, the model of network teaching management is emerged. The teaching quality evaluation is an important method of teaching monitor, and is very an important factor to determine the standard of teaching. In order to update and summary problems and experiences of our school's teachers in the teaching process, to get feedback information on teaching quality, but also to improve efficiency of school teaching evaluation, avoiding the statistical errors caused by manual in traditional method of evaluating teaching, for which our school has developed the online teaching evaluation system.The system gives different permissions to different users based on the permission assignment module, For students, they can enter into the system to query evaluation methods, and choose the appropriate courses and semesters for teaching evaluation; Teachers enter into the system, who select the appropriate term and the corresponding courses taught by them, and query their scores and the class scores of the instructed courses; And for department leaders can check student's evaluation for the faculty and classes'evaluation of their classroom teachers in this system to monitor and control the teaching of classroom teachers and teaching quality. Administrators have the highest authority, who can back up the teaching evaluation data and make statistical analysis as well as set the score rules.The system adopts the B/S structure;Web program development framework on ASP.NET (C #);Web server using Windows 2003 Server+IIS6.0;MS SQL Server2000 as the selection of the background database, and writes unit test code with Nunit test library, and use Visual Studio environment for testing. The Teaching evaluation system works well and is capable of evaluating the school teaching job each semester after the one-year actual application in our school.
