As a sophisticated precision system with optical, electrical, and mechanical signals, turntables are the actuators providing the motion control of rotations, velocities, and positions of one-dimension or multi-dimension, which are widely used in many fields, such like the aerospace, aviation, transportation and medical. The complexity of the turntables has improved a lot over the years due to the evolution of requirements, thus the emulators' Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC) design of the turntable system and its loads become very necessary. This paper first gave an introduction of the basic principles of EMC, and then summarized the EMI problems encountered. Took the problems as examples and hereafter provided trouble-shooting references in future turntables'EMC design, including the design of the whole system, the design of the sub-system, how to pass the EMC test, how to avoid the deterioration of the EMC problems. The EMC problems usually arose during the last phase of design or after the products had been put into use, just like the four examples listed in this article. But to solve such EMC problems we should begin from the early system design phase, but not when the problems had emerged in the last design phase. Systematic methods are required here. So from the trouble-shooting point, this article just aimed to provide some reference for the EMC design in the early phase.
