With the continuous update and development of network technology, SNS, a newly emerged network application, becomes the focus in the field of network. Combining social communication, information transmitting and entertaining, SNS provides transmitting channel for promoting brands and sales in the companies along with offering netizens the platform of intercommunicating and seeking for the happiness.As a newly emerged object, SNS is still exploring in the method of profiting and quality of transmitting performance. But the enormous audience SNS attracted has reflected its huge commercial potential and promoting value. Meanwhile, with its new transmitting skills SNS is developing as an excellent media where advertisers can have boldest try, especially for the companies that eager to set market popularity.This thesis seeks to help the companies to achieve their sales quotation. Chapter One is the introduction, the last Chapter being conclusion. The emergence and development of the SNS is illustrated in Chapter Two. Chapter Three introduces macro background of SNS and analyzes the causes of sales promotion. Chapter Four explained the operating modes and functional characteristics of SNS in the aspect of middle. Chapter Five, the core of the paper, introduces the case--the competition of growing seeds of juice for Lohas (a soft drink made by COFCO) in kaixin001.com, and then studies concretely and meticulously the factors and process contributing to the success of the case to sum up the approach to realizing promoting value of SNS. At last the thesis puts forward the problems which SNS would face up to in the aspect of policy, trades and SNS itself.The prominent characteristic of the paper is to make perfect combination between full view and case study from the three views of macroscopic, the middle, and microcosmic. Based on the framework of the company, the thesis may be used as a source reference for the application of SNS.
