The boiler control is a complicated control process, to ensure the boiler running safety and to provide the qualified steam to adapt to the need of load, each link must strictly control the process parameters and establish comparatively accurate mathematical model. While industrial boiler drum water level is the boiler safe and stable operation of the important indexes. Owing to the boiler often load change large, start-stop frequent, rely on manual operation is very difficult to guarantee the stability and safely in economic conditions long-term operation, Therefore, automatic control has become a guarantee of boiler safe efficient operation. The boiler modeling and control question has been the focus of attention. But for the nonlinear and time-varying, multivariable coupling, dead zone, disturbance large and complicated system is concerned; it is not an easy task. Ensure water level control in a given range, to reduce equipment loss and operation loss, improve quality, ensure that the whole steam network security operation to have the important meaning.Most current boiler drum water level control method are adopted the conventional PID control, because its control parameters are fixed, the control effect is often difficult to meet the requirements. According to the boiler control situation, putting forward parameter self-setting genetic algorithm control rules, designing the adaptive genetic algorithm PID controller for the drum water level control, overcome traditional control mode of parameters is very difficult to adjust and control effect is not accurate shortcomings. The simulation results show that this system can basically eliminate the disturbance to the influence of water level and adaptive ability stronger, anti-jamming and robustness, guarantee the stability of water.In the controller designing with a microprocessor ARM chip S3C2410A for core design the genetic algorithms adaptive PID control system, to control algorithm and setting algorithm on hardware can be achieved. Applying Matlab to analyze and verify the simulation of drum water level control system. Based on the ARM of the boiler drum water level of genetic algorithm PID adaptive control system can meet higher control requirements, is a promising control scheme.
