With the development of industrial control systems'decentralization, networking and intelligence, the field-bus technology based on control technology, computer technology and communication technology, because of its reduce systems'cabling, simplify systems'installation, maintenance and management, and lower systems' investment and operating costs, enhance systems'performance, since its inception in 1970s', has been widespread concerned around the world and widely promoted which has become the world automation technology's hot spot.In order to interoperate and interconnect different devices and monitoring systems based on Modbus, CAN bus and Ethernet,to form an integrated automation systems used in coal mine, an embedded multi-protocol converter with instrinsically safe interface is designed in the dissertation, which can be realized the function that the three protocols can be simultaneously achieved,32-bit single-chip microprocessor LPC2292 is used in the hardware with the expansion of the 16K bit serial CMOS E2PROM and LCD display module. The embedded real-time operating systemμC/OS-Ⅱis used in the design of software. The background of the topic, field-bus technology and Ethernet technology development status, field-bus application in underground coal mine as well as the significance of the research is introduced in the dissertation firstly.Secondly, some related theoretical knowledge and issues is described in the dissertation, focusing on embedded systems andμC/OS-Ⅱembedded real-time operating system, Modbus protocol, CAN bus protocol and TCP/IP protocol family, as well as the three protocols simplify implementation on the subject. Then, the hardware circuit design and software design of the embedded multi-protocol converter with instrinsically safe interface is described in detail in the dissertation, and some circuit diagrams are gave. The Modbus protocol, CAN bus protocol and TCP/IP protocol's implement in the system is introduced firstly in the software design, after that, the sofeware of the multi-protocol conversion is described, including the task partition and the implementation of multi-task scheduling mechanism in theμC/OS-Ⅱembedded real-time operating system. The function debugging of the system is introduced at last. Finally, the dissertation is summarized and the deficient is pinted out, with what should be strived to improve in the following work.
