| The Bluetooth technology, which has gained the support of leading manufacturerslike Ericsson, Nokia, IBM, Toshiba, Intel and others, now is one of the most popularshort-range wireless communication technologies. It climinates the need for wires,cables, and the corresponding connectors between cordless or mobile phones, modem,headset, PDAs, computers, printers and so on. The thesis gives an overview of the specification of the Bluetooth technology andthe basic concepts required for Bluetooth technology and analyses deeply the protocolarchitecture, system characteristics, application profiles etc. Then three differentimplemntations of Bluetooth protcol stack are proposed, two processors standardsolution, two processors embedded solution and wholly embedded single processorsolution. After comparison, the third mode was adopted.After carefully studying the characteristics of embedded operating system andthe functions of the Bluetooth module which core is BlueCore2-Extenal, the specificidea and nomal method of embedded audio communication equipment based onBluetooth is decided. BlueCore2-External is the most popular bluetooth chip in theworld designed by CSR Corporation. CSR Corporation also provides the hardwareand software development tools, Casira and Bluelab.In the end, the thesis describes thoroughly the design of embedded audiocommunication equipment based on Bluetooth. The PCB is fabricated according tothe schematic of the Hands-Free equipment. The thesis also compeletes the setting ofthe Bluetooth module and realize the control of the audio chip MSM7731-02. Afterresearch on the connection process of the Bluetooth equipments, the software basedon Vm and written by C language is also developed. The sample machine is debuggedand passed. |
