In recent years, with China's national economy in rapid development, urbanization is accelerating. Rail transport has advantages such as non-polluting, low-noise, high speed. Because of these advantages, more and more cities have taken it as the main vehicle, which has become the symbol of a modern city.In China's Railway Transport construction, different Equipment Suppliers were selected in different period. Usually , different Suppliers have different technologies, standards and functions. So they are not compatible. The different Equipments cannot be connected with each other. Their information cannot be shared by the other Equipment. It has heavily blocked the future development of Railway Transport. The Shanghai Science committee,Shanghai Shentong Group organized some scientific research and business units to solve these problems. The solution adopts an OPC-based Embedded Essentials. This device as a middleware can ignore the different conformations and supply data for the upper computer. Shanghai CASCO Signal Co., Ltd. is responsible for research and development of the Embedded EssentialsThis paper is part of the Embedded Essentials research which take a detailed discussion about the key technology in Embedded Essentials——OPC DA criterion and expatiate the theory and concrete implementation of OPC DA Server . It also included the communication between OPCDA server and the underlying PLC equipment as well as the OPC server and OPC Client communication. COM technology is the core of OPC technology. OPC DA Server use COM objects and COM interface, which make OPC DA Server has a strong flexibility and scalability. At the same time, the paper also discussed how to achieve OPC key interface specifications.
