Fixed Asset Management Information System Design And Implementation

These technical changes affect the way of information's production, storage, dissemination and recycle directly so that work efficiency is greatly improved. With the rapid development of computer technology, information technology is used in management activities more and more deeply and widely, and the implementation of MIS has gradually matured technically. If an enterprise wants to survive and develop, it must enhance enterprise management. In other words, it must reinforce the enterprise's internal management of various resources effectively and establish the MIS in line with its own characteristics.Assets are the source of an enterprise's benefit. As the enterprise's important assets, fixed assets are material foundation and necessary condition of an enterprise's manufacture and management activity. It can bring an enterprise great economic benefit and is beneficial to its steady development to strengthen the management of fixed assets and to give full play to the utility of fixed assets. The analysis and design of fixed assets management information system has important practical significance for the management and maintenance of an enterprise's fixed assets, as well as its operation and development.Firstly, the author analyses the system of fixed assets MIS according to the domestic and international basic theories of fixed assets and MIS. Then, this thesis plans the system and makes the overall design with system flow chart and function structure diagram, and makes a detailed design of every part of the system. Finally, it achieves all aspects of the design of the system above with the computer technology and puts up with some practical measures for the system maintenance.
