This paper focuses on the key technologies in TD-SCDMA system——Smart Antenna and Joint Detection, derived the calculated formula of the different algorithms, and in trial network the environment of performance test had been set up and the test has been completed,then analyzed the result of testing in depth. Wraparound rise to include the following aspects:First, reviewed the development history of mobile telecommunication, compared the main standards of the 3rd generation mobile communication technology, pointed out that TD-SCDMA using the Smart Antenna, Joint Detection and etc., have other 3G standards incomparable advantage.Second, researched on the algorithm of Beam forming and DOA of Smart Antenna, and the algorithm of linear Joint Detection in depth. Via derived the formula, combined with plenty of literatures at home and abroad, the advantages and disadvantages of different algorithms had been discussed in depth, and the proper algorithm for TD-SCDMA system has been found out.Third, combined with experimental network, established the environment of performance test of Smart Antenna and Joint Detection, given the data configuration, the instrumentation and software tools, and detailed the testing procedures at different conditions, the related operations to the original testing data.Finally, analyzed the testing data in detail, the conclusion powerfully proved the advantages of Smart Antenna and Joint Detection. Because of the application of SA and JD, it makes system capacity increased and spectrum efficiency improved, noise signal has been restrained, SNR in receiving terminal improved.
