In order to build environment-friendly society, the world is actively developing solar energy resources and solar energy applications have been very extensive. Solar energy is both primary energy and renewable energy.It is rich in resources, both free, and no transport. Besides, solar energy has no pollution to the environment, so the application of solar power has a significant place. How to efficient use solar energy and obtain the maximum utilization rate are the current priority. According to experimental determination, the power generation of using servo control system has more20-35%than the fixed equipment under the same conditions. This paper designed and implemented a PLC-based intelligent solar tracking system under the context of solar power generation system which lay a good foundation for maximum use of solar power in the power generation system.This paper relies on off-grid wind and solar power generation system, designs and implements system according to the efficiency of solar power generation needs based on access to relevant literature data. First, because of the current shortcomings of tracking mode in solar tracking control system, this paper designs a tracking mode to make up the lack of run separately which is the mode of combining the photovoltaic tracking and sun angel tracking. Using Four-quadrant photovoltaic detector as signal acquisition, it has simple structure and high accuracy. Using PLC as the master controller, and complete the main electro-optical tracking, control pulse procedures, angle signal and data processing procedures, etc. At the same time, it designs fuzzy controller based on fuzzy control theory to solve the nonlinear problems of system, enhance the robustness of the system and improve the tracking accuracy of the system and the overall control performance.Through two sets of experiments, it has verified the rationality of operational circuit and fuzzy control. Through analyzing the experimental data, the conclusion is that using mode of amplification circuit first, Addition and subtraction circuit last, data has poor small jumping, close to the true value, and is more reasonable; it has validated the feasibility of fuzzy control in solar tracking control system. With comparing to bias control and PID control respectively, it demonstrated that the fuzzy control strategy is more suitable for the solar tracking control system, which has small tracking error and improves the stability of the system. So it makes a good foundation practice for the intelligent control used in the solar tracking control system.
