Since Optic Communications can provide superb performance, it attracts more and more attention. Using ATP system to establish optic links is necessary for a reliable and accurate optic communication in the free space, putting forward a strict requirement to the tracing accuracy of the ATP system and the quality of the optoelectronic sensors. With the continuous growth of the sensitivity, resolution and dynamic range of CMOS image sensors, utilizing high-speed CMOS image sensors instead of traditional CCD image sensor as optoelectronic sensor of the ATP system is the tendency of future development.This article uses Cypress LUPA300 CMOS image sensor as the optoelectronic sensor of the accurate tracing APT system. Performance of LUPA300 is researched, followed by an analysis of the feasibility of using it as the optoelectronic sensor of APT accurate tracing system. In order to examine the feasibility, this paper researched and realized a tracing camera based on LUPA300, which automatically trace the light spot of the laser. Related experiments using this camera testified the feasibility of employing LUPA300 image sensor to the APT accurate tracing system. |
