Research On Optimization Of Reverse Modeling Surface On Catia

In recent years reverse engineering has been widely used in various manufacturing industries at home and abroad, CATIA as a large CAD/CAE/CAM applications in the field of leadership in reverse. This application is to use CATIA as a system platform, study the optimization of reverse surface modeling in order to achieve the effect of improving surface quality.In this paper,we stady point cloud pretreatment technology and curve optimization and surface Reconstruction technology.Use Visual basic secondary develop CATIA editor the average of the distance as the target parameter of optimization settings of the product optimization module,the distance is from the point after the filtration to the generated surface,then Automatic optimized,then automatically optimizes the constraint value of Surface elements to make the target parameters to the minimum. Makes the surface more fit with the point cloud,to achieve good results about Optimization of surface.
