Surface reconstruction is a key technology of the special-shaped surface modeling and is also an important component of reverse engineering.However,Surface inverse modeling is non-parametric modeling and it much depends on the experience and skill of operators.What's more,the surface reconstruction method has many disadvantages and the quality of the surface lacks reasonable evaluation standards.In particular,the reconstruction of special-shaped surface usually requires time-consuming data processing and surface optimization.Therefore,it has the great significance to simplify the operation process and improve the reconstruction efficiency and the quality of modeling in the field of reverse engineering design.Based on the NURBS surface reconstruction mathematical model,combined with the algorithm of reversed calculating controlling points and the distances between surfaces,an parametric surface optimization was proposed.In this paper,the secondary development of CATIA based on CAA was thoroughly researched.Moreover,a new surface reconstruction Software Module was developed by using C + + language,and the development process of "NURBS surface control point" module was described in detail.Ultimately,directional and quantitative surface adjustment was released.Based on the research above,we used the models of FRP nose and door as examples,the traditional surface reconstruction techniques and rapid surface reconstruction optimization techniques were used to perform surface fitting,optimization,cutting and splicing,deviation detection,and fairness analysis of model.Compared the data of two reconstruction methods,the accuracy of reconstruction model to optimization technique was reached to 0.1 mm,the efficiency of reconstruction was doubled.Meanwhile,the experimental results also proved that the research of rapid reconstruction optimization method has the advantages of reducing the number of reconstructed patches and preserving the model feature information for the model surface with curvature surface and complex surface.
