With the rapid development of mobile communication,the mobile phone location has been the important service in Cellular Network.We can regard the mobile phone location service as the integrate of Mobile Internet and location service. This kind service is widely used. The professional location tool,which can used to locate person, event and thing, can be used in many fields,for example, enforcing the law, mobile office, transportation, logistics, tour, territorial resource.The definition of mobile phone is using professional knowledge to computing the location of mobile in Cellular Network. In Cellular Network, there are some usual location technologies:Cell-D Method, RSS Method, AOA Method, Hybrid Method. In this paper, I adopt RSS Method which can be used in location system with MR.MR can meet the computing command for location system when mobile phones is activated in GSM. The system is easy upgraded without changing the existing mobile devices. We can estimate the position of the mobile just through detecting the difference of the signal strength level between the base station and the mobile, which meets the goal of low cost and easy achieved. However, the accuracy of this positioning method is not very high because the base station antennas, terrain, buildings and other external factors will influence changes in signal strength, so it is not applicable to the industries with high requirements for precision.Firstly, this paper discussed the background of mobile phone location system. I have analyzed functional requirement and non-functional requirement of system, and describe this requirement with use case diagram.Secondly, based on the requirement analysis, we carried out the architecture design of the mobile phone location system. First, the system design objectives and principles were brought forward according to the system requirements, and then we designed the technical and functional architecture of the system respectively.Thirdly, we carried on detailed design mobile phone location system on the basis of the MR. In this section, we designed the system according to an unified idea, and the design of each module was described. In the system modeling, we carried on detailed technical analysis and unified modeling to the two important function modules "base station display" and "positioning" respectively in order to more fully understand the design of positioning system, so that a detailed description function was strived to describe the detailed design and implementation process of the system function.In the forth section, we gave a brief introduction to the implementation of each module in the first place on the basis of the detailed design. The overall renderings and the realization of each part were given. After understanding the overall structure, the core algorithm and the definition of the core services were showed according to the problems raised in requirement analysis.At last, some recommendations were made to the further improvement of the mobile phone positioning system.In summary, we designed as well as implemented the research of MR-based mobile phone location system on the basis of analyzing the function requirement and system architecture thought.
