Optical Grid is the infrastructure that implements the resource sharing and provides user more dynamic and efficient Grid service with the help of abstract optical network resource.Two problems must be solved to accomplish optical grid: how to define the optical network resources? How to encapsulate these resources into services and how to manage these services?At present,the optical grid technology developed rapidly,and has become a hot research field of information technology.This thesis analyzes the subject matter facing and key technology to be solved of the optical grid.And with the design of the optical grid architecture, the model of the optical network resource reservation service has been studied.This paper,firstly,use the network description language(NDL) to abstract the optical network resources to adapt service needs. Secondly,the optical network resource reservation scheme is studied, and on this basis a resource reservation solutions is provided. In this design, the overall structure is designed according to the functional needs, then the module is designed detailedly. And the database with the requirements of system is designed.Through the in-depth research of dynamic route and wavelength allocation in optical network,a preemptable multi-priority wavelegth resource reservation algorithm is proposed,and moreover,it can raise optical network resource utilization,reduce the blocking probability of higher priority requirement.Maturational Web Service technology is adopted in the experiment,Java as programming language,and MySQL as database.The Web Sevice platform which built by the Tomcat and AXIS accomplished the optical network resource reservation service. Simulation results verify the feasibility of this service design,provides a basis for the further study.
