Multiple-Input Multiple-Output(MIMO) Radio Transmission Technology has become to be one of the key technology for the future wireless communication systems. The performance of MIMO communication depends largely on the fade characteristics of the radio channels. Hence, researches on the modeling of MIMO channel and the simulation technology are needed in order to facilitate the development of MIMO techniques.This thesis focuses on the theme of modeling of the MIMO channels and use the image method combined with electromagnetic theory to simulate the indoor environment MIMO channel. The main contents and the contributions are expressed as follows:This thesis is based on the imaging principle combined with the electromagnetic theory and propagation to model an indoor MIMO channel . Some difficult points and key points of the programme simulation are explained according to the theory. All that work is for the core purpose of choosing a modeling method.Select the environmental parameters and transform the coordinate system of the electric field intensity. These steps are for the core purpose of selecting parameters.Establishe a model for the indoor MIMO channel. Simplify and make better the polarization process. Add a obstacle to make a further analysis for the established MIMO model. Then, a lot of simulation results are presented including the received power, the time delay, AOA, DOA, the path loss, the capacity of the channel, etc. And it lists the compared results between the LOS and NLOS environment.
