MIMO (Multiple-Input Multiple-Output, MIMO) technology is one of the key technologies to realize the high-speed broadband wireless communication in the future, with a broad application prospect.However, compared to the conventional single-antenna communication system, the multi-antenna application of MIMO encounters with a large number of issues to be examined. The performance of MIMO communication depends largely on the fade characteristics of the radio channels.Hence, researches on the modeling of the wireless MIMO fading channel and the simulation technology are needed in order to facilitate the development of the wireless MIMO communication techniques.This thesis will focus on the theme of modeling of the MIMO channel in the new generation of wireless communications, and makes a systematic and detailed analysis of the correlation between the model of MIMO channel and signals, as well as the effect on the performance of MIMO and the analysis of MIMO simulation data.The contents and the main contributions of the study can be divided into four parts:1.This thesis introduces the research background and significance, gives a brief review of the progress in the research and the applications of the current MIMO wireless technology, and points out some of the present main issues on it.2.The thesis provides an overview of MIMO wireless channel, a detailed description of a typical existing model for MIMO wireless channel, including the physical model and non-physical model and the analysis of the various advantages and disadvantages of the current MIMO models.3.On the basis of a detailed study on some theories of the space-time channel model in recent literature, and according to departure angle and expansion angle of launching signals, arrival angle and expansion angle of receiving signals, power azimuth spectrum, Doppler spectrum and the transceiver at both ends of the antenna topology, the research generates a multi-tap broadband MIMO channel model, and creates a simulation platform of wireless MIMO channel.The research based on the specific parameters by 3GPP standards, conducts a computer simulation for the theoretical cannel model,the results obtained of which are in basic agreement with the actual situation.4.The thesis carries out a simple research and analysis on capacity of the MIMO channel of transmission power average-allocated and of adaptive allocated.Through the study on the MIMO channel modeling of a new generation of wireless communications,it shows that channel modeling is of much significance for the realization of large capacity and high reliability of wireless communication.
