Research, Process Modeling Method Based On Business Rules

With the increasingly enlargement of enterprise systems, business processes become more and more complex, business process modeling has become a important part of enterprise system designing and operation. Up to the present, the modeling of business process manly focuses on the flow-control perspective, regardless of the logic relationships between models, which will lead to many problems. Although the value of business rules in business process modeling has been recognized by many organizations, it is not fully clear how business rules can be used to model business process models.Due to the study of this paper, the problems mentioned above could be solved by using business rule languages for specifying business processes. Business rules are powerful representation forms that can potentially define the semantics of business process models and business vocabulary. Moreover, business process specified in a business rule language is understandable for both IT-people and business people and thus will contain less false interpretations.The purpose of this paper is to find a method of auto transformation from business rules into business process, making the business process modeling to eliminate a number of other complicated steps and directly based on business rules. This paper is committed to model the business process based on SBVR, then use the method mentioned below to transform a plain text rule statement into BPMN files.This work is mainly reflected in the following areas:parsing method of business rule text, designing of intermediate model, algorithm of activity mapping, transformation from intermediate model to process model and verification.Through the study, this paper has verified the feasibility of transformation between text and model, and process modeling based on plain text rules. This innovation of process modeling presented by this paper is to find a rule based process modeling, which will greatly save the time of system development and system maintenance. In theory, this paper design a new process modeling approach based on text, which makes the relevant semantic analysis and the dynamic change of process become more practical.
