With increasingly important of information technology in management of enterprise, more and more information system appeared. But regardless of system managers or system developers, the biggest problem they faced is that a lot of data duplication and data inconsistencies. For the above reasons, building a basic information platform that integrates the information which applications need to be involved and shared is necessary. It should also provide the standard models of show and query, the mechanism of centralized user authentication, the standard interfaces for top application system, It is very valuable in development and management of information system.Directory Service which is a technology of management resource information to facilitate inquiry is generated to adapt to the rapid development of network. It appears to provide an opportunity to address above problems. Directory Service can effectively organize, manage, and share network resources in multi-servers environment. LDAP (Lightweight Directory Access Protocol) as one of the Directory Service protocol, it has the advantage of distributed, cross-platform, cross-language, query quickly and so on. Directory Service based on LDAP is ideal for storing, sharing, managing, and querying resource information of wide-area network effectively.A network resource management system based on distributed LDAP is presented in this paper. First, described the information sharing technology on network, and put forward using Directory Service to store information in order to solve this problem. Second, introduced the theoretical knowledge in order to achievement the system, including the J2EE framework, the basic concept and characters of LDAP. Base on this, with LDAP Directory Service, analysis and design the structure of the system, function and Implementation of every module, the key technologies.This system take advantage of LDAP Directory Service to store the resource, use technology of resource modeling with object-oriented and business object expanding which can effectively store and manage the network information resources, the business objects in this system can be updated as the businesses expand. It can also support synchronization among LDAP servers. cross-platform, extensible, maintainable, etc. In short, it has a high value.
