Research On The Changes Of The Family Status Of Rural Female Under Non-Agriculturalization Background

Non-agriculturalization is the only way of modernization in rural area. Thirty years of reforming and opening up, enormous changes has taken place in rural areas of Zhejiang Province. With the deepening of economic reform, the rural non-agriculturalization trend is strengthening. Changes in industrial structure impacting on all aspects of social life in rural areas are significant, including the values of farmers, living habits and interpersonal networks and so on. With the trend of nuclear families strengthening, women's status in the families are getting more and more important. In this paper, taking Zhejiang Province for example, we found 12 villages in total of six cities to make up of the sample survey, in order to obtain the first-hand information of the changes of family status of the rural female. At the same time, through the documents related to the study, to make an overview of traditional agricultural society and rural women in the pre-reform situation of the family status, then to get the main reasons for changes of the family status of rural female.
