The Research Of Rural Women's Family Status In The Process Of Non-Agriculturalization In Shaanxi

There are many elements influence women'ss family status, the money they can earened is important one of them.Depending on the theory of resource, social stratification, and the thoughts of disparity equality. And grounded on the non-agriculturalization process, the research is based on the survey and interview to 299 rural people living in GuanZhong, ShanNan and ShanBei of Shaanxi.The thesis is focus on married women, by discussing their rights to decide individual marriage, to bear children, to manage business of production and important family affairs, and to decide individual affairs, housework and domestic violence and so on, trying to describ the actuality of rural women'sfamily status of Shaanxi, want to find out its characteristic and the influence (if there be or not) on their rights and obligations after they or their husbands had worked in city, and try to explain them. In the first part of the article, the author summarizes the aims of research and the results of relevant studies. In addition,the chapter clarifies the key concepts and theories, and provide the the survey method,the method of how to chose the villiages, and the basic information of the objects--299 rural people.Then I had discussing the right to decide individual marriage, to bear children, to manage business of production and important family affairs, and to decide individual affairs, housework and domestic violence and so on, trying to describ the actuality of rural women'sfamily status of Shaanxi, want to find out its characteristic and the influence (if there be or not) on their rights and obligations after they or their husbands had worked in city, and try to explain them.There are primary conclusions and profound discussion in the next chapter. The family status of rural women in Shaanxi is be effected by many elements, doing non-agricultural work and get money is important one of them. Simultaneously influenced by the modern factors and tradition ones,the Shaanxi rural women'sfamily status obviously present the transitional characteristics. To do non-agricultural work and get money is important to improve their family status, but their own opinion is always be effect by the way they got the right. In the coutryside of Shaanxi, women'sright to decide bear baby is slow than the economic development, and the trditional pattern of couple is more easily to be accept. In the last chapter, I have presented some suggestions to improve Shaaxi rural women'sfamily status.
