The Teaching and Research Group(TRG) is the basic unit of the teaching research organization system. Teachers of the same subject raise professional knowledge, share experience in teaching and exchange scientific research results in the group. The TRG bear an important responsibility for improving teacher's professional knowledge and the reform of the teaching and learning. TRG's work affects the school teaching directly, vital to overall school work and the future of school. However, for a long time, influenced by many factors, many rural middle schools haven't attached much importance to TRG, neglecting the function of TRG and considering TRG as unworthy organization. With the reform of our basic education advanced, especially the implementation of the primary curriculum, the rural teachers have been posed grave challenges in the education idea, the education activities and the development of professional. Therefore, it needs strengthen the construction of the rural TRG, enrich the content of teaching research activities, improve the quality of teaching and research and raise the professional development of rural teachers.This thesis, using the teaching research activities of a rural school as a research case, through investigating the teaching research activities of the C middle school, have understood TRG's rule of the C middle school and the activities state in practice. Meanwhile, Analyzing from the angle of policy research, there are following problems: the badly "transactional" TRG; institutional standards of the teaching research activities were lost, including the content of activities "formalized", the teaching research activities unbending, the lack of cooperation for teachers in the process of reviewing lessons and in short of collective teaching thinking in the course of activities. And the thesis clarifies it in the following four aspects:staff room inspection, the school administration, the leader of TRG and teachers.How can we strengthen the construction of the rural TRG? My dissertation demonstrates by outside administration and internal self-development of the TRG. Firstly, the staff room of the region and county must fully bring into play their own professional advantage, actively participate in the primary school's teaching research activities and exert the function of guidance and service. The leaders of rural middle schools also must emancipate their minds and transform concept, from paying attention to student scores to recognizing teacher's professional development and student achievement, raising the professional development of rural teachers; Secondly, the rural TRG should strengthen self-development, construct "internal rules", which should be constructed from the forming value and internal culture of TRG, promoting TRG's Connotation development.
