Research On The Problems And Countermeasures Of The Scholarship Of Teaching Of Local Universities

As an academic organization, universities undertake developing science, cultivating talented people, servicing for society, which should be the palace to teach knowledge, inherit knowledge, innovate knowledge and pursue academy. The inheritance and innovation of knowledge which need to research teaching and research knowledge. Teaching is the main duty of a university, it was predominant for local universities. The Quality of Higher Education and National Education Plan focus more on the higher education quality, The scholarship of teaching is the best method to fulfill elite teaching. The scholarship of teaching is a kind of ability for university teachers, scholars to know and improve the domain of researching, which based on basic educational and teaching knowledge. It takes the refinement and inheritance of knowledge as academy, it research es on university's teaching and communicates with scholars and peers. This can strengthen the coordinate and harmonious development of teaching, researching and servicing. Thus it can cultivate talented people and service for society deeply. Local universities should be teaching—oriented, take teaching as its main duty, it researches its teaching, textbook, curriculum, and discipline. So that can improve the level of teaching scholarship, the quality of education and talented—people. In this dissertation, it adopts literature analysis, theory methodology, questionnaire survey and interviewing methodology, it demonstrates the positioning theory, the idea of teaching scholarship of local universities, it discusses and analysis the problems and reasons of teaching scholarship of local universities, it put forward suggestions and advices to develop scholarship of local universities. Which give some information on how to develop scholarship of local universities.This dissertation includes five chapters.Chapter 1 is the Introduction. It discussed the background, current conditions and its significance of research. It also defines basic concepts, such as academy, the idea of academy, teaching scholarship, etc. Through the above analysis, it gives the authors'definition, and analysis its denotation.Chapter 2 is focus on positioning theory of local universities. It discovers the vague of positioning in local universities, and its deviation of teaching—oriented. And discuss its position theory deeply. This paper will put forward some principles for local universities'positioning. So that we can know clearly about the valuable inclination of teaching and teaching-orientation.,Chapter 3 is to analysis the idea of teaching scholarship of local universities profoundly. Distinguishing relationship between teaching and researching, the promotion of researching on teaching, and distinguish the notion of academic teaching, research teaching, teaching scholarship, etc. Consequently, it constructed the idea of teaching scholarship of universities.Chapter 4 is the questionnaire survey and reviewing, to discuss about the problems of teaching scholarship, such as attention'pure'scientific research, contempt teaching scholarship, teachers themselves do not attach the importance of teaching scholarship; colleges'activities of teaching scholarship were infrequently, the invalidation of the teaching and research division, and informal organization. Etc. Finally, it analyzes the reasons of the above problems.Chapter 5 is to put forward some suggestions about how to propel the development of teaching scholarship of local universities. According to the national requirements of the quality on cultivation talented-people, the teaching-oriented of local universities, the promotion of researching on teaching, and according to the problems of teaching scholarship in local universities, this dissertation is due to propose relevant countermeasures and solutions. So that can provide some advices on how to develop scholarship of local universities.
