A Study On Li Shangyin's Using Allusions In Poems And Articles

Using allusions is an important characteristics of Li Shangyin's poems and articles, however, the past dynasties'critics had different opinions on it. Some people thinked his ways of using allusions were very rare,obscure and hard to understand, and he liked piling allusions in his poems and articles, or satirized his behavior was like an otter displayed its fish on the waterside. While others argued that citing allusions'methods of his works were quite plaintive, beyond all expectations and had a long aftertaste when you read them.Therefore, first of all, the allusions of Li Shangyin's poems and articles will be renewedly hackled and classified. And then, I plan to study these allusions from two aspects——affair allusion and utterance allusion in order to investigate Li Shangyin's different creation psychology of using the different allusions, the features of using allusions and the reasons of loving using allusions.
