《Cramer 60 Piano Etudes》 Research

"Cramer 60 Piano Etudes" the object of study of this paper is commonly used in Europe as the piano teaching materials, having a high practical value, more emphasis in foreign countries, but now this is not enough attention to this in China, and has less research. Through the analysis of characteristics of Cramer and "Cramer 60 Piano Etudes", this paper attempts to discuss on its value and significance through the descriptions of the composer, the historical and cultural background of creation, and the trace left in the piano history, and provides a new perspective for the study of piano etudes. This paper consists of five chapters. ChapterⅠ"Introduction" through the discussion of research origin, object of study, research status, research purpose, research methods, and significance and so on tries to explain the writing idea and logic of this paper. ChapterⅡ"The Historical and Cultural Background of Cramer Etudes" introduces the art life of Cramer and the cultural background of Cramer etudes, which lays a good culture foundation for the latter contents. ChapterⅢ"Types of Technology of Cramer Etude" introduces the main musical features of Cramer etude, while carries out the cultural interpretation to the music style. ChapterⅣ"Musical Features of Cramer Etude" summarizes and analyzes the Cramer Etude technology, we can say that it is the development of the technical characteristics of ChapterⅢ. And ChapterⅤ"Conclusion" summarizes the value of Cramer Etude, which is the comprehensive summary and distillation.
