Analysis And Strategy Of Impact Factors On Medical Disputes With No Error

Objective: Along with social economy development and people living standard enhancement, people's healthy demand index is getting higher and legal consciousness is getting stronger as well. At the same time, the medical dispute cases related to malpractice are increasing year by year. Non-error medical dispute occurred more often rapidly in recent years, which had a significant impact on the development of a harmonious society and the building of harmonious relations between doctors and patients. So government and medical services pay more attention to it. In this study, we investigate the impact factors on non-error medical dispute in two three level of first-class hospital in Qingdao. Then we use some theories to analyze the reasons which result in the non-error medical dispute in different perspective. Last but not the least, we make some strategies of the impart factors to medical services, patients and society. So non-error medical dispute will be diminished.Methods:The patients were divided into two kinds:In patients with non-error medical dispute and without any dispute. These patients were investigated respectively through questionnaire. The contents of investigation include two parts. The first part is the general conditions of two kinds of patients. The second part is the potential impact factors on non-error medical dispute. The result of questionnaire is as following:The effective questionnaire includes 110 cases of inpatients without dispute and 112 cases of inpatients with non-error medical dispute. The effective rate is 88% and 89.6% respectively. The data of the 220 cases questionnaire were input one by one in the software SPSS 17.0.Statistical processing included analyses of Spearman correlation and Logistic regression.Results:Statistical results disclosed that seven factors are related to the occurrence of non-error medical dispute. The analysis results are as following:(1) Acceptance of the result of the treatment for patients. (2) Medical expenses of patients. (3) Hope of patient for the prognosis of disease. (4) Attitude of doctor towards patient. (5) Cognition of patient for the medical risk. (6) Cognition of patient for the "Medical malpractice processing ordinance". (7) Impact of negative reports concerning medical service on patient which were given by public disseminator.Conclusion:According to the study, we use some theories to analyze the reasons why the impact factors could form in different perspective. Some strategies were taken basing on the analyses of these impact factors in order to decrease the occurrence of medical disputes. Some strategies are as following:(1) For medical services:we suggest changing the service awareness in order to adapt to the new medical model, strengthening the quality of medical service while improving the level of medical technology, enhancing the doctor-patient communication then rebuilding the doctor-patient relationship. (2) For patient:We suggest enhancing the understanding of the medical industry in order to build harmonious doctor-patient relationship together, strengthening the cognition of medical risk and correcting the overestimated hope for medical treatment.(3) For society:we consider that government should reform the current medical system so that the disease financial burden of patients will be alleviated, Strengthening the functions of the judiciary so that the legal rights of medical service be protected. In addition, a reasonable supervisory system will be constructed and a responsible public disseminator.
