Clinical Efficiency And Effect To PCT Of Xueduqing Retention Enema On Treating Sepsis

Objective:To observe the effect of xueduqing in treating sepsis and its relative research to the change of the level of PCT, and discuss part of the mechanism of this formula at the base of discussing the pathogenesis of sepsis and the basic therapy of promoting blood circulation for removing blood stasis.Method:This research use the random and contrast method to divide the 60 patients corresponding with the standard of sepsis into 2 groups:contrast group and therapy group with 30 patients in each group.The patients in 2 groups have no significant difference in general clinical materials such as age,gender.course and state of the disease. The patients in therapy group are offered with the therapy of the guide of western medicine in treating sepsis and enema of xueduqing while the patients in contrast group are offered with the therapy of the guide of western medicine in treating sepsis.The period of treatment is 1 week. We observe syndromes.Chinese medicine syndromes and the level of PCT and the change of some security index of routine test of blood and urine,the function of liver and kidney.Result:The syndromes of the sepsis patients in 2 groups are improved after 1 week's therapy(p<0.05),and the improvement of therapy group is more obvious.The contents of PCT in 2 groups are all lowered with the significant difference comparing with the condition before therapy(P<0.05) this shows that the contents of PCT in blood are decreased,and it is more evident in therapy group.For the evaluation of security, there is no abnormal index of security or severity which is relative to the herbs in this clinical research.This points out that this formula has very good security.Conclusion:1.the treatment of xueduqing can improve the syndromes of sepsis patients.It has a good function of promoting blood circulation for removing blood stasis. 2.xueduqing can lower the level of PCT of sepsis patients and inhibit the reaction of inflammation.
