Objective:To observe the therapeutic effects of the method of dissipate phlegm dispelling wind-evil and dredging collaterals in Treatment of of Vertebro-basilar ischemiaSubjects and Methods:A randomized trial was conducted in 127 patients with Vertebro-basilar ischemia met the inclusion criteria.127 cases were randomly divided into two groups:67 patients were regarded as observer group;60 patients were regarded as control group. The observer group were treated by daily a dose of "Sanchong Banxia Baizhu Tianma Tang", divided into 2 times, taking warm drugs after morning and evening meal; the control group were treated by "flunarizine(5mg qd) and Fu Fang Dan Shen Di Wan(10 pills tid)". Then observe the changes of the symptoms of vertigo, hemorheology and TCD after 4 weeks.Results:(1)A total of 127 patients were enrolled into the clinical research and all completed, cases without shedding. (2)After 4-week treatment, the levels of blood viscosity and plasma viscosity of two groups all reduced than before treatment(P<0.01),while there were statistics significantly difference of hemorheology levels between observation group and control group(P<0.05~0.01).(3) Comparing with the observation group and control group before and after treatment, tow groups vertebrobasilar artery average flow velocity all increased than before (P<0.01),but the observation group has better curative effect (P<0.01).(4) The total effective rate of the observation group was significantly higher than that in the control group(94.03% VS 80.00%(P<0.05);(5)During treatment period, Both groups had not appeared adverse drug reactions.Conclusions:1,the method of dissipate phlegm dispelling wind-evil and dredging can improve the symptom of Vertebro-basilar ischemia Vertigo, its efficacy is better than the control group dramatically; and it had no significant adverse reactions.2,the method of dissipate phlegm dispelling wind-evil and dredging can decrease patients with VBI of blood viscosity and improve average current velocity, its efficacy is better than the control group dramatically...
