| Objective:By observing the change of clinical symptoms and signs in children upper airway cough syndrome before and after treatment, objective evaluate the clinical efficacy and safety of children upper airway cough syndrome of wind phlegm stagnate on Lung Syndrome treated with dispelling wind and removing phlegm methord.Methods:60cases of children with upper airway cough syndrome of wind phlegm stagnate on Lung Syndrome were randomly divided into the treatment group and the control group with30cases in each group, using a randomized, case-control method, the treatment group was dialectically treated by using dispelling wind and removing phlegm methord, the control group was treated by Oralling cetirizine syrup,7days as a course, to observe two courses. To record the changes of the Comprehensive curative effects, primary and secondary efficacy indexes before treatment, the7th day and the14th day. And follow up the children4weeks after the end of treatment, use statistical methods for analysis and processing.Results:①Comparison of the Comprehensive curative effects:4cases were completely cured,10cases significantly effective,10cases effective, and only1case invalid in the treatment group, the total effective rate was96.67%.Meanwhile1case was completely cured,9cases significantly effective,13cases effective, and7cases invalid in the control group, the total effective rate was76.67%. Ridit and Chi-square analysis showed a significant difference (P<0.01, P<0.05).②Comparison of the major efficacy index:After7days, there was no significant difference about cough, expectoration, nasal congestion, runny nose, nasal itching, sneezing and pharyngeal symptoms between two groups (P>0.05); After14days, there was no significant difference about runny nose, between the two groups (P>0.05). But improvement of cough, expectoration, nasal congestion, nasal itching and sneezing and pharyngeal symptoms was better than the control group (P<0.01, P<0.05).③Comparison of the secondary efficacy index:Symptoms and signs were significantly improved outside appetite in the treatment group (P<0.01, P<0.05). But those were failed to significantly alter except throat itching, tongue and pulse condition in the control group (P>0.05). Comparison between two groups, symptom integral of itchy throat, throat clearing, sweating, appetite, stool and Tongue were significantly lower in the treatment group than in the control group. It was tested by SPSS16.0that there was remarkable difference between two groups (P<0.01, P<0.05).④Comparison of recurrence rate:2cases were found recurrence in the treatment group after4weeks follow-up,6cases were found recurrence in the control group. By Chi-square test, the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05).⑤Safety Evaluation:Routine blood, urine routine, stool routine and blood biochemical tests of children were within normal limits whether before treatment or after. Conclusion:Dispelling wind and removing phlegm methord has a definite therapeutic effect on the treatment of children upper airway cough syndrome of wind phlegm stagnate on Lung Syndrome, and it can reduce the recurrence of the disease, no adverse reactions, worthy of clinical promotion. |
