| Purpose: To evaluate the effectiveness of social support on quality of life of breast cancer patients after surgery.Method: 40 breast cancer patients after surgery were randomly divided into two groups (treatment group & control group). We applied the routine care after surgery and social support in treatment group.In control group received the routine care after surgery. FACT-B was the main measure. The author systematically observed he improve of quality of life with the social support.Result:It is evident that there scores were statistical differences between two groups since 1 month,3 month,6 month after social support (P<0.05).And there were significant differences between two groups about social domestic condition,emotional condition,functional condition,other factors and the total score (P<0.05).Conclusion:The social support could promote the perceived social support for patients and improve their quality of life. So the social support could be regarded as an effective model for intervention. |
