Objective:The consumptions of antibacterial agents are researched and analyzed to learn the current situation and trend of antibacterial agents'appilication. The results of Antibacterial Susceptibility Test are analyzed to summarize the change of bacterial resistance. Furthermore relationship between DDDs of antibacterial agents and bacterial resistance are discussed. Correlations between them are found. This research are proceeded to warn the medical workers to pay more attention to the high increase of bacterial resistance and apply antibacterial agents more reasonably to control the increase of bacterial resistance effectively. Methods:The comsuptions of antibacterial agents of studied hospital from 2004 to 2009 year are reviewed. The type, quantity, sum and DDDs were reviewed and changes from 2004-2009year are analyzed. The Key analysis were used to classify antibacterial agents into A, B and C. The bacterial resistance are also reviewed and disuccsed. SPSS were used to analysis the relaitionship between the DDDs of antibacterial agents and bacterial resistance. Results:Reviews of antibacterial agents'consumptions reveal that each type antibacterial agents was applied in studied hospital and antibacterial agents'sum was the top one among the whole agents. The sums of Cephalosporins agents hold a prominent place in six years. The sums of Cephalosporins antibacterial agents increased from 2004 to 2006 and decreased from 2006-2009. The sum of 4-quinolones antibacterial agents was second in six years and the change was stable. Atypicalβ-lactams antibacterial agents were used in 2006 year and increased rapidly. Penicillin was also used and the sum of others is low.P.Aeruginosa, Escherichia coli, Klebsiella pneumonia and Pandrugresistantacinetobacterbaumanii were the most common Pathogenic bacteria in six years. The agents resistances of four Pathogenic bacteria were increased as a whole. Drug resistance increased rapidly when agents resistance was low and maintained a high level when agents resistance was high. Research between between the DDDs of antibacterial agents and bacterial resistance display a complex relationship between them. But correlations were revealed between DDDs of antibacterial agents and bacterial resistance. The bacterial resistance increased when the DDDs of antibacterial agents increased continuously,Conclusions:Antibacterial agents hold a prominent place in studied hospital. Bacterial resistance has a complex relationship with quantity of antibacterial agents. Bacterial resistance also has a close relation with the quantity of same category antibacterial agents. Bacterial resistance increased when the DDDs of antibacterial agents increased. And it is difficult to fall when the drug resistance reached to a high level. The falls of some bacterial resistance were delayed and slow when the DDDs of antibacterial agents decreased.
