| Objective:observing the therapeutic effects of Ba wei yang mai tang on the treatment of chemotherapy-induced peripheral neuropathy,including the impact on the patient's grade of the World Health Organization peripheral nerve toxicity criteria, TCM syndrome scoring and the quality of life. Observing the safety of Ba wei yang mai tang.Method:60 cases of chemotherapy-induced induced peripheral neuropathy were divided into the treatment group(30 cases)and the control group(30 cases).The treatment group was treated with Baweiyangmaitang.The control group was treated with Mecobalamin Tablets.Both the two groups were treated for two courses of treatment(eight weeks). Grading the patients by the World Health Organization peripheral nerve toxicity criteria, making a comparison about the patients'grades, TCM syndrome scores and the quality of life scores before and after the treatment.Result:Regarding the reduction of the grades,the total effective rate of the treatment group is 93.3%; the control group is 63.3%.There is a very significant difference between the two groups (P<0.01).Regarding TCM syndrome scoring, the total effective rate of the treatment group is 96.7%; the control group is 56.7%.There is a very significant difference between the two groups (P<0.01). Regarding the quality of life scoring, There is a very significant difference before and after the treatment in the two groups (P<0.01);there is a very significant difference after the treatment between the two groups (P<0.01).Conclusion:l.The therapeutic effects of Ba wei yang mai tang on the treatment of chemotherapy-induced peripheral neuropathy are significant,which are better than the control group;2.The therapeutic effect of Ba wei yang mai tang on TCM syndrome scoring is significant;3. Ba wei yang mai tang is much better at improving patients' quality of life,comparing with the control group;4. Ba wei yang mai tang is safe in usage. |
