The Clinical Research Of Therapeutic Effects Of Jiawei Yanghe Tang On Chemotherapy-Induced Peripheral Neuropathy

Objective:To observe the clinical effect of Jiawei Yanghe Tang on chemotherapy-induced peripheral neuropathy and carrying on the study of its mechanism.Methods:Choose patients who are diagnosed as chemotherapy-induced peripheral neuropathy from Shandong Tumor Hospital and the Second Affiliated Hospital of Shandong University of Traditional Chinese Medicine.And randomly divide them into two groups,as the experimental group and control group respectively.The experimental group is given Jiawei Yanghe Tang for 5 weeks,and the control group is given Duloxetine with 20mg/d for 1 week initially and 60mg/d for 4 weeks subsequently.Then to observe the changes before and after the treatment of pain degree,grade of peripheral neuropathy,Traditional Chinese Medicine(TCM)symptom curative effect integral,the latentperiod,sensory conduction velocity and sensorimotor amplitude of electrophysiological detection.Results:After 5 weeks treatment,1.The symptoms of pain degree,grade of peripheral neuropathy and TCM symptoms in two groups are all improved,and there was no significant difference statistically(P>0.05);2.In terms of electrophysiological detection,both can obviously improve CIPN in patients with nerve injury by shortening the average incubation period of the Inedian nerve,expediting the average transmission speed and increasing higher average action potential amplitude and after treatment with statistical significance(P<0.05).But no statistical differenceswere found between the two groups(P>0.05).Conclusion:The therapeutic effect of Jiawei Yanghe Tang on chemotherapy-induced peripheral neuropathy is definite,and is similar to that of duloxetine.
