ObjectiveTo observe wrist-ankle acupuncture with body acupuncture which is more superior relieving spinal root pain, it takes shorten time and inexpensive.MethodRandomly select 50 patients divided into two groups:select 25 cases for treatment group take wrist-ankle acupuncture and another 25 cases for the control group take body acupuncture. The Visual Analogue Scale displayed the score of patient's pain before the treatment,5 min 15min and 30min after needling.ResultsThere is no difference in 5min(P>0.05), but there is significant difference remission rate between 15min, and 30min after needling(P<0.05),The analgesic effect of the treatment group is significantly better than the control group in 5min,15min and 30min after needling(P<0.05), the treatment group were better than the control group.ConclusionBoth groups are able to relieve the pain, but the analgesic effect of the treatment group is obviously superior than the other group. This study showed that wrist-ankle acupuncture treatment can rapidly relieve patient's nerve root type cervical pain for clinical treatment of cervical spondylosis of nerve root type provides more simple and quick method of treatment.
