This paper combines lit-erature and modern computer technology, attempts to analyze the treatment of chest blocking and heartache and the prescription compatibility law, to guide basic research and clinical practise.Chinese Medicine has a long histroy to treat chest blocking and heartache, ranging from Qin dynasty to Qing dynasty. During this period, ancient physicians have accumulated a large num-ber of documents, summarized a wealth of clinical experience and effective herbs, and many of them remain today. The subject of the research is to analyze the treatment of chest blocking and heartache formulas of ancient and modern literature systematically, with the help of modern computer technology, to establish of chest blocking and heartache prescription database, testing the compatibility of such law prescription in order to provide ideas and important basis for the development of new drugs.This paper is divided into two parts. According to historical order, the first part of it reviews about chest blocking and heartache systematically, including chest pain from the origin of the disease name on the research, analysis of the etiology and pathogenesis, review their governance and formulas. In this part of modern medical research on the pathogenesis of coronary heart disease are also covered, to show the times, and lays foundation for future research. The second part will be collected from the ancient chest pain prescriptions to sort, filter, set up to query the prescription database system about chest pain, with the use of statistical software to analyze drug frequency, high-frequency drug-induced taste, owned by the frequency analysis, factor analysis, analyze the prescription treatment of chest blocking and heartache of objective data, the results suggest that Chest blocking and heartache prescription drug compatibility is the main group of blood circulation side, compatibility temperature in dispelling drug, qi and phlegm medicine, replenishing qi and blood agents in the treatment of chest blocking and heartache. This is the first through the establishment of database and its statistical analysis reveal the chest blocking and heartache prescription drug laws, and has important theoretical and clinical significance.
