Objective:To investigate the changes and clinical implications of serum glucagon in Yin deficiency and Yang hyperactivity syndrome and excessive accumulation of Phlegm-dampness syndrome of hypertension, to compare the correlation of glucagon with laboratory targets by linear correlation analysis, and to compare the laboratory targets of the two syndromes, thus explore the objective targets which can be used to distinguish the syndromes of hypertension.Methods:1. design survey form, fill in Precise clinical materials.2.According to the guiding principles of Chinese medicine research, choose 21 patients who were diagnosed as hypertension due to Yin deficiency and yang hyperactivity,20 patients were belong to syndrome of excessive accumulation of Phlegm-dampness of hypertension from the hospital's hypertension crowd in the cardiovascular branch of Nanjing TCM hospital.3.survey the height, the body weight, the waistline, the blood pressure, serum total cholesterol(TC), triglyeride(TG), high density lipoprotein-cholest (HDL-C), the low density lipoprotein cholesterol wet(LDL-C), apolipoprotein(α)[Lp (α)], apolipoprotein-A1(Apo-A1), apolipoprotein-B(Apo-B), the glycosylated hemoglobin (HbAlc), the uric acid(UA), fasting glucagon, glucose,C peptide, the insulin and post-meal glucose, C peptide and insulin 4.use the SPSS 17.0 statistics software to compare the level of serum glucagon in Yin deficiency and Yang hyperactivity syndrome and excessive accumulation of Phlegm-dampness syndrome of hypertension. The correlation of glucagon with obesity index and blood biochemical parameters were determined by linear correlation analysis and multivariate regression analysis. Results:Serum glucagon concentration in excessive accumulation of hypertension was significantly higher than That in Yin deficiency and Yang hyperactivity syndrome[(151.15±56.87)vs(118.26±27.04)pg/ml P<0.05].BMI, waistline, LDL-C, fasting and post-meal C peptide, insulin, TC,TG,Lp(a),HbAlc,UA in excessive accumulation of Phlegm-dampness syndrome of hypertension were higher than that in Yin deficiency and Yang hyperactivity syndrome. In Phlegm-dampness syndrome of hypertension group, glucagon positively correlated with BMI, waistline, LDL-C, fasting C peptide and insulin, UA. And negatively correlated with HDL-C.In Yin deficiency and Yang hyperactivity syndrome group, glucagon positively correlated with TC and fasting insulin. Conclusion:serum glucagon concentration in excessive accumulation of Phlegm-dampness syndrome of hypertension was higher than that in Yin deficiency and Yang hyperactivity syndrome; BMI, waistline, LDL-C, fasting and post-meal C peptide, insulin, TC,TG,Lp(a),HbAl,UA in excessive accumulation of Phlegm-dampness syndrome of hypertension were higher than that in Yin deficiency and Yang hyperactivity syndrome; BMI, waistline, LDL-C, fasting C peptide and insulin, UA, HDL-C have correlation with serum glucagon in Phlegm-dampness syndrome of hypertension group; However, fasting insulin and TC have correlation with serum glucagon in Yin deficiency and Yang hyperactivity syndrome group.
