Objective: By using three specific phobia high school students as the subjects, this paper explores the psychological mechanism of specific phobia and proves the effectiveness of Met-cognition Intervention Technique in curing high school students'specific phobia.Methods: This study uses Met-cognition Intervention Technique to intervene and cure high school students'specific phobia. This study verifies the effectiveness of the treatment by using phobia factor of SCL-90, Phobia Self-evaluation Scale and Self-designed Subjective Emotional Questionnaire as the assessment tools, and recording the change of the phobia mood using multiple baseline design.Results: After intervention, the scores of phobia factor of SCL-90D are lower than the demarcation. The scores of the Phobia Self-evaluation Scale before-treatment, mid-treatment and after-treatment display that the intervention is effective. And the multiple baseline of the Self-designed Subjective Emotional Questionnaire displays that the degree of phobia mood decreases obviously and tends to be normal. There is no evidence of recurrence after the intervention.Conclusion: The results support that the psychological mechanism of high school students'specific phobia is the result of the infinite loop of the negative conditioned emotion, which is the key of curing high school students'specific phobia. Therefore, Met-cognition Intervention Technique is effective in curing high school students'specific phobia, and it is worth to be spread.
