Due to their rich nutrients and unique health functions, mina grain crops are playing an important role in the development of functional health food products. In order to solve the variety issues of minor grain crops, numerous variety regional tests have been conducted. However, the collection,analysis and processing of the data from the regional tests are done manually with lower efficiency and poor reliability.Based on the study of data collection, statistic calculation methods and yield variance analysis for minor grain crops regional tests, a data collection and analysis system for the regional test of minor grain crops was developed. This system for the first time fully integrated the functions for data gathering, data statistics, summary, analysis, variety evaluation, and automatic generation of final report as a whole. The analysis and processing of the data from regional test has been automated, thus improved the validity and reliability for data analysis sand processing. The contents and findings of this research are as follows:â…°. The difficulties in the artificial data processing were analyzed. The coverage of the data and data collection procedures were studied. A web-based data collection model was put forward to realize remote data acquisition, thus simplified the procedure through which the data should be reported and collected.â…±. Based on the features of regional tests, feasible variance analysis model, computing formula and algorithm design for regional test statistics have been proposed. Statistic summary methods, data composition of the final report, structure of the final report were discussed. Database technique and Delphi programming were employed to automate the statistical processing, gathering and analyzing of the data, and the Anylib component was adopted to realize the automatic generation and output of data sheet. This greatly improved the efficiency of data processing process.â…². The composition, structure and data contents of the final report document for the regional test were investigated to help establish a suitable document processing approach.. Web Office plug-in and Delphi were used for the programming, thus to realize the automation of data extraction and final report document automatic generation and export.â…³. The system framework, functioning and implementation of web-based data collection and analysis for regional test were investigated. Based on Delphi+database programming techniques and philosophy of module designing, database designing and system function module designing were completed, thus the data collection, statistical analysis and report generation were automated.Based on C/S system structure, using Delphi and database programming technology, a system for the collection and analysis of data from minor crops regional test was developed in the Windows XP+SQL Server 2000 platform. It has been proved that the new system could meet the needs for data collection and processing, and greatly improved the validity, reliability of data analysis, and has practical functions.
