Northwest area is one of the main producing areas of China potato, potato late blight is adevastating disease in the production of potatoes. Northwest area suffers a lot. The occurrenceand spread of potato late blight are closely related to the environmental conditions, especiallytemperature and humidity. To implement forewarning of potato late blight and collectingenvironment information is of great significance. To fulfill the demand of western potato lateblight prevention and control in National Potato Industry Technology System Project, thispaper introduces the design and implementation of a data acquisition system for temperatureand humidity of field micro environment in Tianshui in Gansu province environment whichcould apply to the warning of potato late blight. The main content includes the followingsection.(1) Overall design for the data acquisition system of field micro would be conductedaccording to the project requirement. The system consisted of the sensor network andcomputer information receiving end.Then this paper introduces the Belgian CARAH potatolate blight forewarning model which would be used to analyze our field and meteorologicalstation data.(2) Software and hardware design of sensor network of field micro environment wouldbe implemented with a modular design approach. Sensor network consists several wirelesssensor nodes and data aggregation nodes. The hardware design of sensor node consists ofSTC89C52MCU, AM2301/2306sensor module, NRF24L01+wireless transceiver module,power module and relevant ASM1117-3.3voltage stabilization module. Besides the sameMCU and wireless modules as sensor network, the hardware of data aggregation node addsDS1302real time clock module and GSM module to its own design, respectivelyimplementing network timing control and data acquisition of remote wireless transmission. Inthe software design of sensor network, we implement the function of sensor collectionprocedure, wireless transceiver program, real time clock program, data services program andcoordinator of relevant nodes. After the design of software and hardware of sensor network,the testing of the sensor network indicate that the sensor network could achieve the predictable function, that is, data acquisition system for temperature and humidity of fieldmicro environment in acquisition cycle for1hour.(3) This system adopts SQL Server2005database and Microsoft Visual Studio2010toimplement the function of receiving display, store, export data information from field microenvironment. After conducting the upper computer function and sensor network jointdebugging, the results manifest the good performance of system. In late June2013, we installthe system at Tianshui Zhongliang experiment station to collect data in the field microenvironment. In the three-month data collection process, System runs normal.(4) Data exporting function of upper computer is used to export the temperature andhumidity data information of field micro environment to EXCEL. And the Belgian CARAHpotato late blight forewarning model is used to analyze the data information, with the end ofgetting the predictable result. Finally through comparing morbidity and predictable results, wecan see that these fit well. It validates the effectiveness of the Belgian CARAH potato lateblight forewarning model.
