Agricultural informatization is a key approach to sustainable development of agriculture.The yield and quality of crops are closely related with their growth environment.In order to better control the yield,it is necessary to establish a system that can collect environmental data in the process of crop growth.Through analysis in agricultural information collection,it is found that a large number of system buses are used in data collection so as to cause the difficulty in data collection,low readability of data,and low capability in secondary development.Targeting those problems,this paper proposed an agricultural information collection system based on Modbus communication mode.Modbus has such advantages as openness,reliability,standardization,scalability and free use,so it can effectively solve those problems.This study provided main contents and innovations in the following:(1)Through the analysis of the development of agricultural information acquisition,the design of agricultural information acquisition system based on Modbus protocol is proposed.Seeing information transmission among numerous nodes in the process of information collection,the paper introduced an improved anti-collision algorithm based on wireless communication to minimize data-packet loss in the process of communication and enhance the effectiveness in information transmission.(2)Particle swarm optimization(PSO)algorithm is used to evaluate the extremum of ALOHA improved algorithm that is based on the NOMA thought.(3)The paper defined the functions of all modules in the system,including data collection module,node control module,wireless transmission module and remote monitoring module.Particularly,the system cores include sensor,microcontroller,433 MHz wireless module,and PC terminal.In comprehensive consideration,the STM32F103C8T6 microcontroller based on Cortex-M3 processor is adopted to control nodes.The system can collect data by using the Modbus sensor and then transmit data to the upper computer through the remote wireless transmission module,while the upper computer can receive and send instructions in the format of the Modbus protocol.According to actual run-test results,the Modbus-based agricultural information collection system can work stably to improve data collection accuracy in crop growth environment,achieve the fixed-point monitoring of multi-parameter agricultural information,reduce agricultural labor cost,and meet the different requirements on information collection in different agricultural environments.
